High Efficiency furnaces and boilers in New York can reduce your heating fuel usage by up to 40% depending on the age and condition of your existing heating system. If you are a National Grid gas customer you are also eligible for incentives of up to $1,350 for installing these higher efficiency systems in your home. You may also be eligible for up to $6,000 in grants or $2,500 in additional NYSERDA incentives and Federal Tax Credits (available Jan 1, 2009 thru Dec 31, 2009).
